Reading and downloading an e-book

  • You can download TIFF and PDF onto your computer.
  • You can use copy/paste to copy limited amount of text (HTML-text).
  • You can't download the entire book at once.

Reading an online-version (PC)

  • In Helka click the word "Online resource".   You can also use "Search Library Resources"-box from the library's homepage.
  • On EEBO homepage you can use Search-option or Browse-option.
  • No program installation is needed when reading online. When reading PDF - you'll need an Adobe Reader.

Online reading

  • No program installation is needed when reading online.
  • There is unlimited multi-user access to the books.
