Reading online (PC)

  • In Helka click the word "Online resource".  
  • You can download the whole book as PDF by clicking "Download ebook". With PDF, you'll need an Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is free of charge.
  • You can open / download the whole book as ePub by clicking "Download book EPUB".
  • You can read PDF-chapters by clicking "PDF" beside every chapter.

Online reading

  • No program installation is needed when reading online.
  • When reading PDF, you'll need an Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is free of charge.
  • There is unlimited multi-user access to the books.,

  • Online information service for scientific, technical, and medical journals and books.
  • SpringerLink offers electronic and printed literature from Springer-Verlag publisher. It also offers the work of other publishers, including Urban and Vogel, Steinkopff, and Birkhäuser.
  • Springer also includes books that aren't licensed to Helsinki University Library. You can limit the material licensed to Helsinki University by unmark the option "include Preview-Only Content" in advanced search.
