Reading online (PC)

  • In Helka click the word "Links".
  • You can read the e-book from the web-site, in text-mode or in PDF-mode with Adobe Reader.
  • You can read one chapter at a time.

Online reading

  • If you read the books through the web-site or in text-mode, no program installation is needed.
  • If you want to read the e-book in PDF-mode, you'll need an Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is free of charge.
  • There is unlimited multi-user access to the books.

  • Collection provides full-text and full-page-image access to titles in most humanities disciplines and in area studies. The books included have been recommended by scholars as significant contributions to their respective fields.

    The collection contains over 3300 e-books, the amount increases continually.

  • You can download PDF-chapters onto your mobile device.

Reading a book with your mobile device

  • You can read the books through the web-site or with PDF-mode. If you want to read the book in PDF-mode, you'll need and Adobe Reader. You can download mobile device programs from the Apple (Appstore), Android (Google Play) and Microsoft (Microsoft Marketplace) application shops.
  • Network connection (online-version).

  • You may print few pages/book.
  • You can print through the web-site, with copy/paste or in PDF-mode.
